You are invited to participate in the 2020 Experience, It’s Real, on July 22-25, at the Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX.

The 2020 Experience, is a one time, historical gathering where the National Convocation, Obra Hispana, and NAPAD of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will come together to listen, learn and worship, as they celebrate their biennial sessions together in a joint 2020 Experience under the theme “It’s Real” and the scripture of Revelation 7:9-17.

We expect over a thousand people to be in attendance, half laity, and half clergy, with both groups being decision-makers or influencers in their local faith communities and of a diverse range of ages. The program will consist of worship, business sessions, educational workshops, and learning tracks, with invited speakers and presentations focusing on our theme, “It’s Real.”

The 2020 Experience seeks workshops that will address areas/topics that impact the Obra Hispana, National Convocation and NAPAD communities. These topics include, but are not limited to, congregational life, faith formation, spiritual practice, and justice issues that impact our world  The 2020 workshops will be open for ALL attendees. 

Workshops will be offered on Thursday and Friday.
Thursday 2:00 – 3:20 and 3:40 – 5:00 
Friday 2:00 – 3:30

Come and host a meal and/or event function at this unique EXPERIENCE.

Meal and event functions will be opened for all attendees. Space is limited, and space will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. 

In order to keep the schedule consistent, we will schedule meals that begin and end in between sessions at the same time (i.e., all luncheons will begin at the same time; as will all dinners). We will make the final decision on all placements.

Meal ticket sales are scheduled to open online in January 2020.  If you would like to have your tickets available for sale on this date, please complete your form no later than December 5, 2019.

Our exhibits consist of church-related organizations and commercial vendors. Exhibit space is limited, and it will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We know that space will sell out quickly, so we encourage you to complete the online application promptly.

  • Exhibit Hall Booth Space $675.00 - 8’ x 8’ booth space to include: 8’ draped back wall and 3’ draped sidewall, (1) skirted 6’table with 2 chairs, wastebasket, and organization identification sign.
  • Highboy Tall Table Display $475.00 - (Prime Location outside of the Exhibit Hall), (1) Highboy Tall Table with 1 chair, and organization identification sign on the table.

Once your application is approved, we will send you an email with further instructions on how to pay for your exhibit space and register your staff.
